Membership is open to all insurance companies who comply with the following conditions:

• The insurance company must be incorporated under the laws of Malaysia and;

• The insurance company must be Malaysian-controlled, or if listed on the
   Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (KLSE) or is a subsidiary of a company listed    on the KLSE, the single largest Malaysian shareholder and/or parties acting in    concert with it/him of the listed company owns a minimum of 35% of the
   issued share capital of the listed company.
